The Board of Directors of ARENA Dances have committed themselves to raising the money needed to cover the various expenses that the company will incur to put on our Fall Show "Matador" at the brand new Cowles Center in downtown Minneapolis. These expenses include, but are not limited to: paying our amazing company of dancers, studio rental for rehearsals, advertising and marketing costs, costumes designed by beloved Twin Cities costumer Sonya Berlovitz and other miscellaneous production elements, including lighting designed by Jeff Bartlett.
Each Board Member has committed to raising $1100.00 by asking friends and family to contribute any amount that they can towards this very important artistic endeavor. Will you please help by making a contribution? Any amount helps!
With the help of our friends and family, ARENA will be able to put on an amazing production which will continue our mission to make modern dance in the Twin Cities accessible and to increase understanding and appreciation of this important art form.
ARENA is deeply committed to educational outreach and hopes to be able to continue hosting school groups, doing residencies and holding Q & A sessions for audiences following performances to further these educational efforts - not only about dance but about the themes that ARENA chooses to bring to the forefront through this powerful form of artistic expression.
