The YWCA of Mankato has three hallmark programs: Women's Leadership Development Program is a gender-specific leadership development program that takes a cohort of women through nine months of capacity building and mentoring. It prepares women for the unique challenges women face in leadership. Girls on the Run/Girls on Track uses the power of running to help prepare girls in 3rd-8th grade for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Walking in Two Worlds Initiative helps immigrant and refugee women who are new to our community integrate into our society through programs such as Colorful Dialogue, Human Race Radio and collaboration with other programs in our community.
