Many know me as a polar explorer, educator and author. I have also become an eyewitness to global warming, specifically in the Arctic. Every ice shelf I have crossed by foot, ski or dogsled has since disintegrated into the ocean, a result of global warming. The Will Steger Foundation has seen firsthand the dramatic effects of climate change on both the environment and the human condition through my experience traveling the Polar Regions for over 45 years. With that knowledge, the Will Steger Foundation seeks to inspire and be a catalyst for international environmental leadership to stop global warming through exploration, education and action.
