Y Partners makes it possible for du Nord to provide financial assistance, program staff support, program supplies, and du Green Initiatives.

Financial Assistance: to assist families, individuals and groups of all
Camp du Nord has been building lives for over 49 years.
In 2008, we served 2,683 people.
Examples of how your donation may be utilized:

Financial Assistance
• 178 families received $55,445 in financial support allowing them to
participate in du Nord summer week-long programs and in winter/spring/
fall sessions.
• 59 teenagers were granted program subsidies totaling $22,125 to be a part of
du Nord’s Leadership Development Program.
• 71 children and adults were granted financial assistance totaling 7,388 to
attend outreach programs.
• Outreach programs continue to serve the Mahtomedi Family Burn Camp,
Elderhostel and the Northern Lights Chamber Music Institute.
Our anticipated need in 2009 is $58,000.

Program Staff Support
• Support for summer staff salaries and expenses total over $90,000.
Y Partners funds support expenses in this area.
• Staff participate in an extensive ten-day training program in preparation for
leading du Nord’s summer programs.
Our anticipated need in 2009 is $16,000.

Program Supplies
• Supplies for summer programs, winter/spring/fall programs and new
program initiatives were subsidized through Y Partners.
Our anticipate need in 2009 is $16,000.

du Green Initiatives
• Modifications to conserve energy and implement water saving values.
• Educational materials for campers.
• Facility upgrades to renovate housing units.
Out anticipated need in 2009 is $5,000.
