An enthusiastic group of WTIP supporters are working to kick-start the campaign to raise $20,000 toward WTIP’s “Home of Our Own” campaign. If the team does it by December 31, 2012, the $20,000 will be matched! “This would be a huge deal for this community radio station,” says WTIP’s director Deb Benedict. The station has been in the new location for four years and there are so many benefits from the increased space and better location, but we need to raise the rest of the capital campaign goal before the mortgage comes due at the end of 2012.
