WORLD YOUTH MOVEMENT

World Youth Movement is a MN based U.S. incorporated 501c3 Non-Profit Organization working on the Bay Island of Roatan , Honduras with a focus on the Latin American Caribbean (LAC) region. The mission of World Youth Movement is to create healthier, stronger, and more positive communities by empowering youth to become positive leaders and advocates for change in their own communities. We will succeed in our mission by providing the youth access to resources and programming to help break the cycle of extreme poverty and create a more positive environment for future generations. Programming includes a youth basketball league, Soul Sisters (a girls empowerment group), Fire Starters ( a boys empowerment group), the Mural Project, Life Skills Planning Courses (the rate of HIV is 220 times it is in the U.S. Life Skills teaches sex ed and healthy relationship choices), Literacy Courses, and more.
