Help us continue to make exciting, world premiere plays by local authors a priority in the Minnesota theater community.
Workhaus, Minnesota's primary generator of high quality, new local plays, is in the middle of our seventh season, and we've got big plans to come for Jeannine Coulombe's Homegrown and beyond.
A growing number of individuals and foundations is helping increase our budgets, improve the quality of our productions, and find new, better ways to make new plays with our community. Be a part of this wonderful company of supporters. Every contribution helps.
Workhaus is a diverse group of nationally recognized playwrights based in the Twin Cities. We are: Trista Baldwin, Alan Berks, Jeannine Coulombe, Christina Ham, Carson Kreitzer, Dominic Orlando, Joe Waechter, and Stanton Wood. (Emeritus members include Deborah Stein, Cory Hinkle, and Victoria Stewart.)
Workhaus is a reaction and an interaction. We are fueled by our desire, as playwrights, to communicate directly with our audiences with shows that are adventurous and event-driven: a full-bodied experience that can only happen in live theatre.
THE HOLLOW was helped by key investment from the McKnight Foundation and the Ruth Easton Ellis Fund of the Playwrights Center. THE HOLLOW was also supported by the Jerome Foundation. HOMEGROWN is supported by the Jerome Foundation and the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council.
All gifts will go directly to fund the Workhaus season, and will be processed lovingly by our fiscal sponsor, the Playwrights Center.
