The Woodbury Community Foundation belongs to every Woodbury citizen. Our goal is well-being for all. Particularly those facing many challenges. They can’t pay their bills. They may in family situations where health problems, alcohol, drug or domestic abuse cause daily anxiety—even fear. They don’t know where their next meal or shelter will come from. They can’t find a way to get to an important doctor’s appointment . They don’t have the right clothes for a job interview or warm clothes for fall or winter. We help build the collaborations and coalitions that serve these people with the greatest compassion and efficiency. That’s our expectation. Well-being for all. For Woodbury. This means all of us working together. MOBILIZING CHANGE...The Woodbury Community Foundation puts people together to find smart new ideas which are focused on those who can’t or won’t speak for themselves and who struggle against many challenges every day. STUDYING THE DATA...The Woodbury Community Foundation’s board of directors believes that our programs and projects priorities should be structured from our own community assessment research findings. Through this professionally executed survey, we will define the most serious needs are and determine how we can best serve people in need. LEADING COLLABORATIONS...Our Community Link project leads collaboration building. Representatives from nonprofits, businesses, the city and Washington County, neighborhoods, churches, healthcare organizations and schools are joining together to form collaborations that form accessible “front doors” for people with multiple challenges.
