The Wiregrass Spay & Neuter Alliance is working diligently to achieve its mission:

• PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HIGH-QUALITY STERILIZATION SERVICES TO COMPANION PETS, AS WELL AS TO HOMELESS, ABANDONED AND FERAL ANIMALS;
• SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE THE INTAKE AND EUTHANIZATION OF HEALTHY DOGS AND CATS.

All animal lovers know this is an important mission and with your support, we will continue to work toward our ultimate vision, “every healthy dog and cat in the Wiregrass can have a loving home.”

In the two and one-half years since its inception, the Wiregrass Spay and Neuter Alliance has preformed over 15,000 spay/neuter surgeries. Though an impressive number, we are still disheartened with the number of unwanted and abandoned animals that have a very bleak future. The key to our long-term success is dependant upon a two-prong approach:

• COMMUNITY EDUCATION;
• MORE AFFORDABLE SURGERIES FOR ALL PET OWNERS.

Because spaying and neutering is all we do, we are able to provide high quality services with efficiencies that enable us to charge only between $38 and $68 for these surgeries. However, for many owners—particularly among the elderly whose pets provide a significant lifeline—even these low costs can be prohibitive.
