The WGM aims to educate and support its members and the community, and to advance the arts of weaving, spinning, and dyeing.

The Weavers Guild of Minnesota has been dedicated to the education and promotion of fiber arts for almost 70 years. The Guild has continually provided the community with classes and workshops to promote interest and expertise in fiber arts, with a focus on weaving, spinning, and dyeing. In 2001, the Weavers Guild of Minnesota joined with other fiber arts communities and moved to the new Textile Center. Our space includes three classrooms with over two dozen floor looms and a dozen spinning wheels; a small retail space for weaving yarns, new and used books, and accessories; and an extensive reference collection. With your help, we can keep tuition and dues low to ensure that everyone can participate in the programs that keep fiber arts accessible and relevant in Minnesota for generations of weavers, spinners, and fiber artists. We have been successful so far in keeping costs low to minimize financial barriers for our members. However, like other nonprofits, we cannot balance our budget through operating revenue alone. We need your support to ensure our operations remain strong. Your contributions are vital to our ability to expand the inspiring work of the Guild. Your support will keep the Guild strong, now and in the future.

Small non-profits need whatever help they can get right now and it is an easy way to contribute even a small amount when we are all "pinched". Easy and appreciated greatly!
