With your financial support, girls are making the world a better place one community at a time. Help our troops in Hopkins and Minnetonka.
Girl Scouts River Valleys has received a generous matching gift. Your donation will be matched on November 16th dollar for dollar (up to $10,000!) thanks to a generous benefactor!
With your participation in the Family Fundraising Campaign, our girls will have the experiences of a lifetime—enjoying new experiences, creating memories and establishing connections that they will carry with them throughout their life. Programs that foster courage, confidence and character in girls ultimately help girls discover their full potential, connect with others, and take action to improve their lives and uplift their communities.
In the Vista Star Service Unit, serving the geographic area including the Hopkins School District and closely surrounding areas, we have over 500 girls involved in Girl Scouting. With the support of River Valleys, we are able to offer programming for girls regardless of economic disparities to help them become the leaders of the future.
How do Girl Scouts change the world? One girl at a time!
Girl Scouts is the world’s preeminent leadership development organization for girls. The ongoing objective of Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River is providing relevant, innovative programming in an all-girl environment that allows girls in grades K-12 to develop self-confidence, civic values, and leadership.
Working with dedicated adult mentors, Girl Scouts learn about themselves, connect with others, discover new skills and knowledge, and take action to improve their communities.
Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys is a nonprofit organization serving more than 60,000 girl and adult members. To continue providing opportunities to all girls – regardless of financial barriers – we need your support.
When you give to Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys, you:
- Ensure every girl who wants to be a Girl Scout is a Girl Scout
- Help us continue our quality, girl-focused leadership opportunities
- Support the development of new program activities, including leadership development and science exploration
- Help cover camp, uniform, and activity fees for girls unable to afford them
- Enable us to maintain and operate our camps and service centers
- Fund volunteer training
Thank you for your continued support of Girl Scouting!
