Mission

Our mission is to support positive youth development through the building and use of wooden boats.

Programs

Each year we partner with eight or ten schools, youth service agencies, juvenile justice programs and community organizations to build fifteen to twenty boats with at-risk youth. We also provide year long boat building apprenticeship opportunities to at-risk youth. We typically work with about 350 youth each year.

We also have an apprentice program for adjudicated youth that is an optional part of their aftercare.
