Sue & Paul are participating in a charity bike ride in Argentina to raise funds to send a young person on the trip of a lifetime!

Greetings!

Sue and Paul are embarking on a charitable international adventure! We are joining 10 others from around the US and Canada on Two Wheel View's Annual Charity Support Bike Trip in Argentina this March. Those of us on board have agreed to fundraise $1,500 each to build Two Wheel View's scholarship fund to help send deserving young people from across the country on a trip of a lifetime. That means we have the tough task of raising a whopping $3,000!

Two Wheel View is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides leadership, environmental and cultural education programs to young people through their participation in bicycle expeditions and local programimg. Two Wheel View programs focus on learning about other cultures, connecting with the natural environment, and encouraging healthy and active lifestyles - while experiencing the world from the seat of a bike. See Two Wheel View's website (www.twowheelview.org) for more details on their programs. While working with Two Wheel View, Paul and I hope to explore how to arrange for a student from Detroit or the metro region to participate in Two Wheel View's future rides. We will keep you updated on those efforts.

This year Two Wheel View is planning a record three youth trips in the summer of 2011. There will be two trips to the same northwest region in Argentina, where we will be riding, and one to the northern stretches of Norway's Lapland. These trips help young people who might not otherwise have an opportunity to leave their neighborhood or city learn about other cultures, all while promoting self-reliance and perseverance and providing them with a sense of accomplishment.

Our deadline to raise these funds is March 5th, 2011....the day we leave on our trip. If you're able to assist us wth our efforts to send deserving students, we would be most grateful. All contributions are 100% tax deductible and Two Wheel View will send you a receipt for your donation.

If you have questions feel free to contact Paul or Sue at any time. I look forward to working with you to make this happen.

Thank you, in advance, for any level conribution you can make. Every little bit helps.

Happy Holidays!

Warmly,

Sue Weckerle & Paul Howard
