TWIN CITIES YOUTH CHORALE

Mission

Twin Cities Youth Chorale inspires elementary and secondary school age singers to achieve choral music excellence through education and performance. Participation fosters personal and social growth and promotes self-esteem, discipline, teamwork, a sense of accomplishment, and pride.

Programs

The Chorale works to fulfill its mission in a number of ways: 1) Artistically excellent concerts by the group's 115 singers are presented across the city and state; 2) Community service programs benefiting area food banks or senior citizens' groups are incorporated into each season; 3) The newly-created TCYC Childrens Choral Festival is an opportunity for youth choirs to share their talent and achievements with each other and with an intergenerational public audience; 4) Financial assistance has been available throughout each of our first two years of existence, helping 19% of member families to participate without hardship.
