Recently, my beloved mother passed away. For the last year and a half of her life she lived in a nursing home. It wasn't a bad place. But, I would have loved it if she could have had access to a program like Kairos Dance. I believe that she would have been happier if people had come to dance with her, engage her in telling her story, entertained and delighted her with her favorite music, and reminded her of the vitality and joy that is life. I believe every one of our parents and grandparents deserve the best possible care. I believe this program needs to be in every retirement community in this country.
