Thursday's Table

You know the adage "the way to a person's heart is through the stomach." We all eat and frequently, we nourish relationships around the dining table as well.

Thursday’s Table is a program of the Community Action Center of Northfield designed to provide a hot and healthy meal to people in Northfield who could benefit from a free, nutritious meal AND from the camaraderie of friends. Through the collaboration of the CAC, Northfield Senior Center, School District and the City of Northfield, free meals are served every Thursday evening from 5:00 to 6:30. The meal is served in the Northfield Community Resource Center dining room, down the hall from the Clothes Closet. Volunteers are kind enough to entertain the children with an activity each week, while their parents chat over the week's events.

And the food is always better with friends at your side!
