The Works is where kids explore how things work! Our mission is to inspire the next generation of innovators and engineers.
The Works Museum ignites excitement in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math)
learning for kids in grades K-6 and gives them fun engineering experiences that develop 21st
Century skills like persistence and problem solving.
Children visiting The Works get their hands on interactive engineering exhibits in ways they
can’t anyplace else. The Works also provides resources for elementary teachers to help them
bring engaging engineering education to their classrooms. Families explore together at The
Works Museum and at programs delivered right to their schools. And, through all of these
experiences, our community has more young people excited to keep learning about STEM into
middle and high school. We’ve already seen some of these students grow up to be engineers,
teachers, and mathematicians. We know our programs help build bright futures for every child
through engineering experiences that engage and inspire.
Please join us in creating these futures. Your financial support makes our work possible and
impacts the thousands of families, students and teachers we serve.
Thank you for your support!
