The Stock Market Game™ Minnesota

BestPrep's The Stock Market Game gives students a virtual $100,000 to invest in the stock market and learn about our economy firsthand on a local, national and even global scale. This experiential tool helps increase students’ financial literacy and emphasizes the importance of investing. Participating students gain a better understanding of the American economic system, current events and helps build teamwork – skills so necessary for future success. With many resources available for teachers, The Stock Market Game is an interactive learning experience in the classroom with hands-on activities and exercises that put what is taught to use. Volunteer speakers help reinforce and expand on the information students learn by presenting the same techniques and skills in context – the real world. The Stock Market Game reached more than 14,950 Minnesota students during the 2010-2011 school year.
