MAP for Nonprofits provides a wide range of expert consulting and management services, helping nonprofits achieve their missions.

Through a generous $8,000 gift from Bremer Bank, all gifts from new and former MAP donors will be matched on a one-to-one basis. The increased portion of gifts from current donors will also be matched on a one-to-one basis. This match will be offered until December 31, 2011 or the match is reached, whichever comes first.

The results of Daring to Lead 2011, a national study on nonprofit leadership for which MAP was the local partner, reveal that 84% of nonprofits have been negatively affected by the recession. It is in these challenging times that MAP matters most to the community.

Reflecting on the economic climate, one of our nonprofit clients recently said “MAP has its finger on the pulse of nonprofits and offers the best services.” Today our work focuses on developing bold, strategic, and courageous leaders, and sustainable organizations through mergers and collaborations. We are also advancing innovation by researching nonprofit innovations in service delivery through the use of technology.

A recent example of our strategic work is with Kinship of Greater Minneapolis, a community-based program that provides children ages 5-15 with caring adult mentors. With the assistance of MAP’s Project ReDesign, Kinship joined the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches' (GMCC) family of programs. Gary Reierson, president of GMCC said, "This strategic alliance will allow more resources to be dedicated to programming, not overhead. We are both very successful with a long history of service to the community.”

Please make a gift to MAP today. It is because of contributions from donors like you that we are able stay up-to-date and offer high quality, cost-effective consulting and services to the nonprofit community.
