The Friends of the Duluth Public Library is a membership based organization that assists with the development and promotion of the Duluth Public Library and advocates its importance in the community.
The main goals of this organization are to maintain an association of persons interested in the Duluth Public Library; to focus public attention in a positive manner on library services, facilities, and needs; to support and cooperate with the Library in developing library services, facilities, activities, and programs for the community; and to raise funds through special events. All donations are tax deductible.
The Friends host many fundraising events throughout the year for the library including the Barnes and Noble Book Fair in December, the Mystery Dinner in the Stacks in April, the Annual Book Sale in June and an Author Series event in September.

THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for the support that you have shown for this most important of institutions. It takes a community to support a library and you have shown us that support.
