Mission

Tapestry Folkdance Center creates opportunities for participation in the joys of dance and music from around the world.

Programs

Tapestry strives to build community through dance. Dance is an entry point to also gain understanding and appreciation for a wide range of cultural traditions. From Contra to Salsa to Nordic Dance, you can find all sorts of enriching cultural dance experiences here. We invite all ages and all skill levels to join us in the fun. FIRST THURSDAY CONTRA
The LGBT Community & Friends welcomes all to a Gender-Neutral Contra Dance!
First Thursdays 7-10:30pm

WINTER SOLSTICE EVENT-NORDIC DANCE
Featuring Kari Tauring, Stavers in the House, and Carol Sersland
Pick a rune and take your place by the Jule Log. Volva Kari will tells stories and sing sonds from our ancestral roots. Carol Sersland will lead the Snake Dance to the rhythms of Stavers in the House.
