girls develop leadership, cross cultural understanding, collaboration and social change with the tools of media.
Everyday, we are inundated with main stream media messages that show pictures of violence, sexual objectification and limitations. Our youth see these messages to as a frame of what we think of adult behavior. Both boys and girls lose in this equation. And as a society, we lose what smart, caring and compassionate youth voices bring to our world.
TVbyGIRLS creates a safe and nurturing place where girls learn how the media works and then make their own media to show their real stories. Girls in our multi-level programs develop as leaders, communicators, creators and confident members of our cultural democracy. And they influence the way we all see the role of girls and women as dynamic leaders in making a better world for everyone.
All donations are received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charity that operates a donor advised fund to fulfill donor advisements.
