SWEET ADELINES INTERNATIONAL aka City of Lakes Chorus

Mission Statement: City of Lakes is a dynamic championship women's barbershop chorus committed to musical excellence, personal growth and enriching the lives of its members and the community through performance, competition, and education.

The City of Lakes Chorus has been dazzling audiences in the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area and around the country since 1952. We are an award-winning chorus of approximately 95 voices with a long history of excellence. We've placed 1st in every Regional competition in which we've taken part since 1967, and have placed in the top 8 finalists in 16 of the 18 International Competitions we've entered since 1971.

We feel strongly that through our love of singing and performing we make a positive impact on the lives of our members and our audience. Each year we strive to meet our goal of musical excellence by producing high quality shows, free concerts and preparing to be our very best for competitions.
