St. Paul Homeless Connect offers free, on-site services to our neighbors experiencing homelessness in a one day event each year.
Like the national model of best practices, the St. Paul Homeless Connect is a joint community effort of nonprofits, government agencies, businesses, and volunteers. This collaboration helps empower participants to connect to resources that can move them another step toward stability.
Together, we are more effective than if we act individually.
The St. Paul Homeless Connect will hold its 6th annual event on:
Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the St. Paul RiverCentre, 175 W. Kellogg Boulevard. Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. Services will be available until 4:00 p.m. Last guests will enter by 3:30 p.m.
The Steering Committee wishes to acknowledge the tremendous support of many social service agencies, corporate sponsors and community volunteers who make this event possible.
In 2010, nearly 400 volunteers and more than 100 service providers gathered to serve people experiencing homelessness at the Saint Paul Project Homeless Connect. This event is a one-stop shop model designed to provide support services in a central location to people experiencing homelessness. Services range from housing, employment, and medical care to benefits, ID cards, and haircuts. Nearly 1,400 guests were partnered with volunteers to identify and access the key services needed to help eliminate barriers to stability.
