ST PAUL ART COLLECTIVE

Your support promotes the arts in St. Paul and throughout Minnesota, promoting under-served communities, artists and small arts businesses, and other non-profit organizations.
The St. Paul Art Collective sponsors the twice-yearly Saint Paul Art Crawl, an open studio tour that promotes artists, arts businesses and arts organizations throughout St. Paul. Our events are open to both local resident artists and guests from other areas. Participation is open to artists in all media (including writing, performance, music and dance), all levels, ages, and backgrounds, from students to "60 and better," internationally-known and those just starting out. We make a special effort to include communities of color, immigrants, the disabled, young artists and those who are excluded from traditional art venues for whatever reason - we do not jury participation. Our events and exhibitions are a way for the artists to reach out to the community, and for the community to experience art that may be new to them. We foster personal interaction between the arts and the community, promoting education, communication and beneficial interactions in informal settings. We also sponsor galleries, other arts events and exhibitions, and help with the monthly "Lowertown First Fridays." We also promote all the arts in St. Paul, and represent the arts community in many ways.
