Economic and community development by artists, for artists, for all of us. Together we make transformation possible.
We’ve got cute pets, and we know when to use them.
The story of Springboard for the Arts is the story of artists who believe that creativity is a natural resource; growing, renewing and needed to inspire us to face and solve big challenges.
This Give to the Max Day, our furry friends do the serious business of reminding you that the mission of Springboard is driven by you, our community. As a donor to Springboard for the Arts, you have added your voice to the importance and value of artists - thank you. For #GTMD13, we have a $4,000 Challenge Match funded by our board, and are focusing our fundraising in three areas:
10-11AM – Incubator Fiscal Sponsorship Power Hour – Springboard for the Arts provides support to almost 200 artist-led projects across the state – your friends and neighbors. Support one of them and make a connection to art in your life. During this Power Hour, Springboard will add $10 per donor to Incubator projects, up to $10,000.
12-1PM – Artists’ Access to Healthcare Power Hour – In the past 6 years, we've helped over 5,000 artists and their families receive high quality care, held 3 Health Fairs and given out hundreds of flu shots. We are committed to helping artists gain access to new health resources as MNsure Navigators.
2-3PM – Minnesota Lawyers for the Arts Power Hour – Our MnLA program connects artists with free and low-cost legal services, and offers workshops to raise legal literacy. These are critical resources for 21st century success.
Join us and our significant animals, and make a tax-deductible contribution to Springboard for the Arts. We're a Top Nonprofit for improving access to local arts and culture in Minnesota, making a living and a life for artists of all stripes. Our furry friends thank you.
