Southeast Asian Ministry is a faith-based ministry serving as a catalyst to empower refugees and immigrants.

SeAM, a non-profit offering services to refugees and immigrants, was established in 1981 by Lutheran pastors and lay-leaders. English classes, parish nursing, elder programs, quilt distribution, Pan Dau consignment, refugee employment servies, and the Christmas Friendship program provide opportunities to empower refugees and immigrants. These programs also offer volunteers and community members an opening to interact with new cultures in the Twin Cities.

What a great service provider! I have come to know SeAM through my church and through some consulting work I have done with them; they are a unique, one-of-a-kind gem of an organization.
