SKEWED VISIONS
A US registered nonprofit
Skewed Visions brings theater into the 21st century. Not content with old ideas of what a theater experience should be, Skewed Visions begins with site-specific performance and from there moves to change the landscape of daily life. From our 1997 installation in an office storefront window to our 2004 award-winning trilogy "The City Itself" (a performance in a house, an audio tour called "Side Walk," and performances in three moving cars on the streets of Minneapolis) to our 2008 imaginative resurrection of Stanley Kubrick's character Dr. Strangelove in the basement of a coffin factory, to our latest online curated performance series, Skewed Vision has not only brought site-specific performance to the Twin Cities, but made intelligent experimental performance engaging and fun. "Skewed Visions is creating important and ground-breaking work" --Variety
