SHERIDAN NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATION

They make the SNO Ball happen. They organize the annual Ice Cream SNOcial. They have walked the neighborhood with their SNO Shoes and picnicked like it is SNO Big Deal. The neighborhood volunteers who run the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization (also known as SNO) have worked together to revitalize the 13th Avenue NE business corridor, adding bike racks, streetlights and signs identifying the area as the Minneapolis Arts District. They have also worked to make new businesses and residents feel welcome in this unique part of the city. SNO has also been working hard to create its first neighborhood park, Sheridan Memorial Park, a monument to veterans on the banks of the Mississippi River.
