We need your help to raise over $100,000 for substantial fire safety improvements in our overnight shelter!

In January, the shelter and Simpson United Methodist Church underwent a fire inspection from the City of Minneapolis. This brought to our attention a number of issues with the building that need to be fixed in order to provide a safe space for our shelter guests, staff and volunteers. These repairs include:

• Replacing the exhaust hood and venting over the kitchen stove
• Installing fire doors
• Repairing plaster to prevent the spread of a fire
• Upgrading fire alarms

Simpson Housing Services does not have funding set aside for this project, and we can't do it without you!
