Semcac's mission is to assist people with achieving or maintaining their independence and self-reliance through their own and community resources. As a Community Action Agency, Semcac's goal is to fight the "War on Poverty" by providing programs and services for individuals and families struggling to make ends meet. We create a bridge of caring and compassion in order to move people from crisis situations to economic stability. Semcac provides programs and services in Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Wabasha and Winona counties in southeastern Minnesota.
