Saana Ensemble Recording Project

Saana Ensemble is a vocal ensemble of five Finnish singers. Our mission is to promote traditional and contemporary renditions of Finnish folk-music and we are getting ready to record our second CD in January 2011. For this recording, we are partnering with some of the stellar musicians of the Twin Cities music scene: Dan Chouinard, piano & accordion, Peter Ostroushko, mandolin, Marc Anderson, percussion, Joel Sayles, double bass, and Sara Pajunen, violin. This is the most ambitious project for us so far, and we are asking your support in making this CD. Give a few dollars and we love you forever.
