Making lasting change in our communities

One of my early experiences with Intermedia was when I took my family to the summer BBQ. We went to see a hip hop dance show in the theater. My 4 yr old daughter, who likes to dance, was drawn in by the performance, and before I could stop her, ran up on stage. What struck me was that the performers, rather than shooing her away, welcomed her and made room for her to express herself as part of the group. This, to me, is Intermedia Arts. I've never seen a place that is so supportive of artists of all ages and backgrounds, empowering them to express themselves, mentoring them, and bringing them into the larger community. By doing so, Intermedia Arts does real and lasting good in our communities and our lives. Please join me in supporting this important work.
