READY 4 K

Ready 4 K is a non-partisan statewide campaign bringing people together across the state to raise awareness and advocate for policy change that makes young children, age birth to five, a top priority. Only half of Minnesota's kindergarteners start school fully ready to succeed, according to the MN Department of Education. Our responsibility as adults is to nurture children so they can realize their dreams and reach their full potential.

What happens in the earliest years not only matters to children and their families, but to the neighborhoods they live in, the schools they will attend, and the communities they will contribute to. You too can play an important role in this growing movement to improve the lives of young children and families. We need Minnesotans to join the campaign today, and lend their voice of support. To achieve our mission, Ready 4 K has a long term vision of public policy and system reform that adheres to four guiding principles: support parents, increase access, promote quality, and produce results.

In 2010, Ready 4 K has a goal of reaching 500 donors with a starting gift of $20 on Give to the Max Day . Your donation will help us continue to make early care and education a top priority for our state. Your support also means that we will continue to train new grassroots advocates and keep you up to date with what's happening for our youngest Minnesotans.
