Reaching New Heights: Match the Grant!

Over the past 60 years, Christ Church Lutheran has opened its doors to the world to enjoy this splendid, Modern building, constructed of honest materials, and lavishly filled with natural light. Visitors from around the world come to experience the warmth, the human scale, and the details of this iconic building. The respect and care shown by the congregation shines through with every glance. But, the ravages of weather and time have taken a toll on the tower's brick work. The National Park Service has recognized the urgent need for repairs to the Modern masterpiece through a $160,000 Save America's Treasures grant.

The Friends of Christ Church Lutheran is partnering with the congregation to raise funds to match this grant, and to conduct studies on the preservation of the courtyard landscape. We ask for your help in preserving this building so future generations may enjoy this treasure.
