N.I.P. Rape and Sexual Abuse Center

In 1972, the Neighborhood Involvement Program (N.I.P.) opened the Rape and Sexual Abuse Center (RSAC) as one of the first centers of its kind in the country. RSAC has four areas of focus including the provision of affordable, high quality individual and group therapy to male and female survivors of sexual assault and abuse, legal advocacy, community education and a crisis line. RSAC is committed to both the prevention and treatment of sexual violence and believe that information and understanding is critical to prevention and intervention.
