Celebrated playwrights throughout history were able to make great theater because of individual benefactors dedicated to supporting their lives and their art.

$ 25 provides actor scripts for play readings and workshops.
$ 50 provides one night of housing for an out-of-town playwright in Minneapolis for a workshop.
$ 100 pays our web hosting fees for a year, enabling us to deliver digital playwriting resources to over 1,100 member playwrights worldwide.
$ 250 provides one of our talented local actors with competitive wages for a workshop and reading as part of our upcoming Ruth Easton New Play Series.
$ 500 provides travel and lodging for an artistic director to visit the Center, meet our writers and attend a staged reading - developing the vital connections between our playwrights, their work, and producing theaters nationwide.
$ 1,000 underwrites the artistic costs to the Center to partner with a local or national theater company in an effort to help move a new play by a Playwrights' Center writer closer to production.
$ 3,000 funds an entire Ruth Easton New Play Series workshop and reading, from travel and lodging expenses to artist wages for actors, director, designer and playwright.
