Each year, we ask 12,000 youth what they want to do with their lives. We listen. Then we help them take action.

OUR VISION: Every child entering middle school will graduate high school with a plan for his or her future and the tools needed to achieve his or her goals. Six years beyond high school, young adults are happy, healthy, productive, independent members of their communitities.

Help turn dreams into meaningful futures. Please support Project SUCCESS.

WHO WE SERVE: We serve each of the 11,600 students in 16 Minneapolis and Saint Paul public middle and high schools.

OUR GOALS: To motivate and inspire each student in every school we serve to dream about their future, help them create a plan to get there, and give them the tools they need to achieve their goals, thereby strengthening engagement in school, improving academic performance, and reinforcing positive behaviors.

HOW WE DO IT: Project SUCCESS' model, serving the whole child over time - up to seven years continuously - with monthly in-classroom goal-setting workshops, attendance at professional theater productions, college tours, one-to-one mentoring, BWCA trips, and other special programming, is proven to strengthen students' engagement, relationships, confidence, and goal-setting skills, which, in turn, lead to improved academic performance, positive behavior, and a happy, productive and successful life after high school.

This Spring, Help Transform Kids' Lives Through Unique Experiences:

Since it's etablishment in 2010 by the Project SUCCESS Board of Directors, the Adrienne Diercks Scholarship Fund has helped hundreds of Minneapolis and Saint Paul youth have unique, transformative experiences, like the BWCA Adventures and college tours, offered by Project SUCCESS to deepen students' experiences in the program and apply what they have learned in Project SUCCESS' monthly goal-setting workshops.

These experiences offer students more opportunities to explore their dreams; create and refine plans for their futures; build confidence and self-esteem; develop teamwork, leadership and communication skills; and find and share their own voice.

Chimua Lor, a student at Saint Paul's Battle Creek Middle School received a scholarship to participate in Project SUCCESS' 2011 BWCA Adventures. Following his experience, he wrote:"It was really an honor to get the scholarship to the Boundary Waters; because that was one of the greatest experiences I had in my life. [One thing] I learned in this trip, is to go outdoors more often. Usually I'll be inside my house, on my computer surfing the Web. But ever since this trip, I've been more outdoors. After school, I'll be playing sports with friends, or just hanging out...I would love to go again next summer!" (scroll through the pictures above to see Chimua in action in the BWCA)

Over the last 5 years, the percentage of students needing scholarships has grown from 26% to 65%.

Help more students like Chimua experience something that will transform their lives with a gift to the Adrienne Diercks Scholarship Fund today. Just designate your gift for a specific cause on the form by entering "Scholarship."

Your gift will provide young people with more ways to discover who they are and who they want to be, and help them develop the tools they need to turn their dreams into meaningful futures. Thank you.
