PROJECTZAWADI provides educational opportunities within a nurturing environment to orphaned and other vulnerable children in Tanzania.

PROJECTZAWADI operates with three guiding principles:

Every child deserves an education
Children belong with a family in their community
Local communities know best what is needed for students to succeed.

In consultation with our community partners, we identify the neediest students for PROJECTZAWADI support. Without our support these students would not be able to attend school.

Each year, PROJECTZAWADI students receive the following:

2 sets of school uniforms
2 pairs of shoes
1 set of textbooks for their grade level
10 notebooks, 10 pencils and 10 pens
1 book bag
1 solar lantern
All applicable school and exam fees
A promise to support them through the highest educational level they can attain
