PROJECTZAWADI provides educational opportunities within a nurturing environment to orphaned and other vulnerable children in Tanzania.

PROJECTZAWADI operates with three guiding principles:

  • Every child deserves an education
  • Children belong with a family in their community
  • Local communities know best what is needed for students to succeed.

In consultation with our community partners, we identify the neediest students for PROJECTZAWADI support. Without our support these students would not be able to attend school.

Each year, PROJECTZAWADI students receive the following:

  • 2 sets of school uniforms
  • 2 pairs of shoes
  • 1 set of textbooks for their grade level
  • 10 notebooks, 10 pencils and 10 pens
  • 1 book bag
  • 1 solar lantern
  • All applicable school and exam fees
  • A promise to support them through the highest educational level they can attain

The Adams Story video is superb; everyone should watch it. We became acquainted with Brian Singer/Project Zawadi in 2005 when he arranged a safari in Tanazania for us; the experience was exceptional because the local people Brian has mentored are exceptional. Keep up the good work!
