PROJECT GET OUTDOORS

"This is the best day of my llife" I heard one child say with excitement as he caught his first trout at a Project GO fieldtrip to Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park. I know this memory will be a part of that child for the rest of his life and maybe even passed on to his children someday. This is common at the 14 Project GO sites now operating in Se Minnesota. Every day a child experiences a new outdoor opportunity, a park or trail he or she has never visited before, or an animal or plant they never before noticed. Project GO programs are providing powerful experiences for children to engage with the natural world while developing lifelong outdoor skills and hobbies. These free programs are helping children fight the childhood obesity trend while providing countless benefits to the body, mind and soul. At the same time, we are fostering environmental awareness and stewardship. Help us expand this program across Minnesota!
