I started volunteering for Secondhand Hounds because we believe my husband has a dog alergy and I wanted a way to get my 'puppy fix'. I continue because of their dedication to saving as many pets as possible from prematurely shortened life. I'm amazed every day by how many animals they save and how the little help I can give has such a great impact in saving even more!
