Project for Pride in Living, Inc.
PPL helps low-income people become self-reliant through integrated services in housing, employment training, support services & education.
PPL is a pioneer in providing integrated support services. We approach self-sufficiency in a holistic manner, working closely with each person, family, and community we serve. Since 1972, we have built stronger futures for families and individuals struggling with poverty, homelessness, and other barriers to self-sufficiency. Our mission: PPL works with lower-income individuals and families to achieve greater self-sufficiency through housing, employment training, support services, and education.
In 2011, PPL served 13,731 people throughout the Twin Cities region — the most in our history. Helping us in our efforts were nearly 2,000 volunteers who contributed an amazing 82,372 hours of time. We are grateful for their support.
Our programs also rely on contributions from caring donors like you. Your support revitalizes troubled neighborhoods, bridges the gap between jobseekers and employers, provides opportunities for quality education, and creates a more vibrant Twin Cities.
Thank you for including PPL in your Give to the Max 2012 plans! Please visit our newly-redesigned website if you want to learn more about what we do.
