3,484 homeless people in 1,235 families received shelter and services at People Serving People in 2012. 61% of guests are children, and the average age of a child at People Serving People is 6 years old.

Our programs connect homeless families to resources for housing and employment to promote stability and provide education for children to break the cycle of poverty. Funded 100% by donor contributions, our programs made success possible for many families in 2012.

• 65% of guests obtained interviews and/or employment with assistance from our Employment Services program.
• 75% of teen guests participated in Youth Group programs.
• 452 children attended our on-site licensed Early Childhood Development program. Children achieved an average 25% assessed improvement in skills during their stay at PSP. The program earned the highest quality rating from the state’s Department of Education “Parent Aware” Certification.
