Help us bring more than 460,000 healthy and delicious meals to people in our community living with life-threatening illnesses.
Open Arms of Minnesota cooks and delivers free, healthy meals for people with chronic and life-threatening illnesses — food that is cooked, packed and delivered by a base of about 1,900 volunteers.
Meal by meal, week by week, Open Arms changes lives by replenishing bodies and spirits.
Meals from Open Arms are more than just food. We believe that nutritious food is absolutely essential for people living with illness because:
Every day, we provide top-notch nutrition, a warm smile, and a bit of hope to people in our community. You can help by making a donation today.
This Give to the Max Day, help us meet a $60,000 challenge from our board of directors!
Members of our board have teamed up to pledge $60,000 to Open Arms to challenge individual donors. Your gift can make a huge impact — imagine, if we met the challenge dollar for dollar, we'd have $120,000 to help us continue to bring good food and hope to so many people at the most vulnerable times in their lives.
What will your donation support?
Your donation will help support our thriving local program which will cook and deliver more than 460,000 meals to more than 1,500 clients and their families in 2013, our 3.4-acre organic farm which will grow up to 30,000 pounds of fresh produce for our kitchen, and an international program that will bring critical nutrition and support to thousands of people affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
