OPEN HANDS MIDWAY INC

Each Monday, Open Hands Midway serves a hot meal and provides clothing and household items to anyone without reservation. We gather clothing and household goods from fourteen local churches and individuals. We obtain food from Jesus Delivers and Second Harvest Heartland. The first Saturday of each month, we reach out to our neighborhood families to provide a breakfast and Kids' Club for children and the third Saturday we set up tables with clothes and a snack at American Bank at the corner or University Ave. and Snelling Ave. We provide an emergency food shelf to families in need and mentor mission groups that come to participate in this ministry. Each summer we have two large lawn parties with food, fellowship, give aways of clothing and household items. You can help provide food and supplies through your donation and help us to expand this ministry to more days and more people. Everyone is welcome and we know love changes people.
