The North St. Paul Area Food Shelf distributes over 30,000 pounds of food each month to families in North St. Paul, Maplewood and Oakdale.
The North St. Paul Area Emergency Food Shelf, located at 2538 E. Seppala Boulevard in North St. Paul, is a non-profit organization which serves families in North St. Paul, Maplewood and Oakdale who are mainly in the District 622 School District. The food shelf is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Families can be served 12 times a year (once a month).
To receive services:
* Clients need to call a day ahead to set up an appointment for picking up food on the next service day.
* Clients must bring 2 forms of ID -- a picture ID and a current utility bill showing that they live in the food shelf area.
* Clients should not schedule appointments unles they can make it. Food will be not held over until the next day. If clients call or cancel on the day of the appointment or do not show up, they will have to wait a month to make new appointments.
