Northshore Area Partners supports senior citizens who wish to remain living in their own homes and avoid out of home placement.

Northshore Area Partners (NSAP) is a neighborhood Living at Home Program. NSAP was founded in October 2003 with the mission to do whatever it takes to support elderly neighbors living in Beaver Bay, Finland, Isabella, Little Marais and Silver Bay in their desire to remain living in their own homes, safely and with dignity. Staff and volunteers help all neighborhood elders regardless of their ability to pay.

NSAP has been funded through a variety of sources: Federal and State grants, Community Foundations, Lake County Human Services, private donations, corporate donations and local government. Helping people remain living in the community strengthens and enhances the place we all call home.

Your contribution will be a step forward to in the goal of maintaining a healthy vibrant community and to continue the mission and vision of Northshore Area Partners.

Do you have a need for a little help in your home, a ride to the doctor or help with grocery shopping? Do your neighbors? Do your parents? North shore Area Partners can help.

    NSAP is a decade ahead of most rural programs (nationwide). I know that they will continue to meet the challenges facing our aging population.

    The donation made today by me is on behalf of the Little Marais Community Club in Little Marais, MN. We would like to thank Northshore Area Partners and its volunteers for all they do to help our friends and neighbors live independently in their homes.

    NSAP is the greatest! Everyone associated with it can be proud of the efforts made to keep people in their own homes as long as the want to and can remain their safely. I too wish an organization like this has been available when my parents were alive. I can however help my aging friends and my friends parents.
