Dear Friends,

I have received a partial scholarship to go on a two-week bicycle expedition in the far north part of Norway (Lapland) later this summer, and I would like your help getting there. My goal is to raise $1500 before July 24.

I will be traveling with a group of about 7 others students and three adults through Two Wheel View. We will be biking 30-50 miles a day under the midnight sun around the islands and along the coast of Norway, near Tromsø. We will get know what it is like to live above the artic circle, meeting both local Norwegian and Sami people. To see the planned itinerary, click here.

I am 15 years old, a harmonica addict, fitness enthusiast and Norwegian (almost) to the core. I am an active member of the Sons of Norway, the Viking Age Club, and a Norwegian folk dancer with Fjell og Fjord. I have studied Norwegian language for two years. This will be a great new experience for me, and give me a chance to use the Norwegian I have learned, while having fun and getting LOTS of exercise. Donations of any amount are sincerely appreciated.
