MINNESOTA STATE FAIR FOUNDATION

Minnesota State Fair Internationally acclaimed, the Minnesota State Fair has served more than two-thirds of today's Minnesotans with cultural and educational experiences with this purpose:

To showcase Minnesota's finest in agriculture, art and industry through an unparalleled forum for educational exchange and social interaction.

In 2011, the State Fair had near record attendance with close to 1.8 million guests, and year-round the fairgrounds are used by other organizations and nearly one million visitors. The organization is self-supporting and has not received government appropriations since 1949.

Despite success, the State Fair needs new resources for educational enrichment, history and heritage, agricultural education, environmental applications and cultural/artistic expressions. This is why in 2002 community leaders formed the Minnesota State Fair Foundation 501(c)(3) to be the nonprofit fundraising entity for the State Fair. Our contributors have provided funds to improve State Fair buildings, grounds and educational experiences, including: • Moo Booth • CHS Miracle of Birth Center • Lee and Rose Warner Coliseum • Agriculture Horticulture and 4-H Building Towers • Trees, gardens and seating • Recognition bricks

Friends of the Fair is the Foundation's membership giving program. Gift levels range from $25 to $2,500. In return for investing in the preservation and improvement of the State Fair, Friends are rewarded with opportunities to enjoy a variety of benefits that make the State Fair experience even more memorable.

All 2012 Friends of the Fair receive:

• Friend of the Fair ribbon
• State Fair annual pin
• Blue Ribbon Bargain Book (filled with over $500 in savings!)
• An invitation to donor receptions at the J.V. Bailey House
• Discount at State FairWear Shops on the fairgrounds
• Annual recognition at the J.V. Bailey House

Green Ribbon - $25

Yellow Ribbon - $50

• Two State Fair parking/admission tickets

Red Ribbon - $100

• Three State Fair parking/admission tickets
• Pre-sale access to any one Grandstand show (up to four tickets)

Blue Ribbon - $250

• Four State Fair parking/admission tickets
• Pre-sale access to any four Grandstand shows (up to four tickets per show)
• Personalized recognition brick on the fairgrounds

Purple Ribbon - $1,000

• Five State Fair parking/ admission tickets
• Pre-sale access to all Grandstand shows (up to four tickets per show)
• Personalized recognition brick on the fairgrounds

Silver Ribbon - $1,500

• Six State Fair parking/admission tickets
• Pre-sale access to all Grandstand shows (up to four tickets per show)
• Personalized recognition bench on the fairgrounds

Gold Ribbon - $2,500

• Six State Fair parking/admission tickets
• Pre-sale access to all Grandstand shows (up to four tickets per show)
