Mount Olivet Day Services needs funds for iPads, accessories, and interactive technology for intergenerational education and recreation.
Mount Olivet Day Services is a unique, intergenerational weekday program that provides quality care for 35 adults and 65 children, the altter ranging from infants through preschool age. Intergenerational activities promote social growth and provide intellectual stimulation for all participants. The goal of the childcare program is to foster the educational, social, and physical development of each child. Parental involvement is encouraged, and everyone, child or parent, enjoys nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. The purpose of the adult day program is to provide assistance with daily activities and opportunities for social interaction to seniors still living in their homes. It offers these individuals an innovative alternative to in-home care or nursing home placement. Services include health monitoring, personal care services, and speech, physical, and occupational therapies. Transportation for seniors can also be arranged.
Please consider supporting this creative and effective way to help children and seniors lead full and happy lives. Many thanks!
